The Challenge:

Barry, the owner of Greenvalley Hospitality was looking for an easy way to display daily specials at the Vanilla Bean Cafe, one of his restaurants, in Pomfret, CT. He was looking to show daily scheduled breakfast, lunch, afternoon and dinner specials with an easy way for his staff to update daily. He was also wondering if there is a way to display the daily specials on his website without having to do the updates separately.

The Solution:

We came up with a chalkboard design for the 4 scheduled daily specials. After approval we coded the 4 board presentations and set up the rotating schedule to display the breakfast, lunch, afternoon and dinner specials at specific times. After doing some research we were able to provide Barry with a plugin for his Word Press based website displaying his specials through a data feed from his new menu board.

Staff now can easily update the menu board and website at the same time from our web based interface. This is a huge time saver for Barry and his team.
