The Challenge:

The East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH) is a non-profit society which provides funding to assist the East Kootenay Regional Hospital and other community health care facilities in meeting the service needs of the region. EKFH depends on the generosity of public donations, third party fundraisers and our own special event initiatives. To recognize and thank donors the EKFH was using a wooded display board where donor names were showing on engraved metal plaques which had to be ordered and installed. It sometimes took weeks before a donor name was recognized for a generous donation. It also proved not to be a very cost effective way of displaying donor names.

The Solution:

The solution provided by Flook Digital Media was to install two 55” screens side by side to use one screen as a digital Donation Wall and the other screen to display media releases, latest news and Twitter feeds. Content for both screens can be created and updated through a password protected area of the ekfh.ca website. Content is displayed on the screens immediately after content is created or updates are made. This assures immediate donor recognition and instant communication of important news.
