Digital Chalk Beer Menu Board

Brian Karp, Chef & Owner of Press 195 says:

"With the addition of a Flook Digital Sign to the bar area, Press 195 not only can now provide an up-to-date beer menu for our crowd but in a manner that was far neater, more attractive and faster than old methods. As well, Flook created a streamlined manner that allowed me to save time in the daily beer menu updating process. From the initial purchase to set up and install, all parts of the process were made easy by Tony and the Flook Digital Media team."

The Challenge:

The Chef Owner of Press195 Brian Karp called us to find out if we could help his business put their Craft Beer selection on a screen in the bar area to keep patron craft beer drinkers informed.

The Solution:

We stepped up to the challenge with our first ‘Beer Menu Board’. All of the craft beers are listed in alphabetical order, stating the Name, State and ABV of each. Staff can now show new draft beers or bottled beers, coming soon beers to let the craft beer drinkers know that there’s new brew on the way in the coming weeks.

Remote Installation:

At the Press195 location in Bayside, NY the owner installed a 47” LED HDTV in portrait mode. The installation was a perfect fit for the existing shelving at the back of the bar area within full view of the bar and restaurant area.

Advantages:

Staff is now able to enter the beer details through the Flook Digital Media website and the listing can be set to "active beer", "last chance beer" or "new beer" with one mouse click. When a beer is set to "new beer", the beer label also appears in the listing with tasters notes.

This single screen installation is able to display over 20 current bottle beers and 8 'on tap' draft beers by slowly switching through different screen presentations. All in full colour HD quality.
